Japanese Prime Minister (PM) Fumio Kishida arrived in Jeddah on Sunday on an official visit.
Kishida was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region.
It is worth mentioning that, Japanese PM said on Sunday, that Tokyo is committed to promoting joint investments with Saudi Arabia, stressing that his country will work with Saudi Arabia to achieve the goals of 2030 Vision.
Kishida confirmed that Japanese companies are working to expand their projects in Saudi Arabia, adding that Tokyo will work with the Kingdom to strengthen energy sector.
"My visit aims to strengthen strategic relations with Saudi Arabia, as it is an important strategic partner for Japan," he continued.
