Japanese Investor: Japanese People Realize Importance of Egyptian Ceramics Thanks to Cleopatra

Japanese investor, "Ikeda", said that she was the first one to establish a branch of Ceramica Cleopatra in Japan 22 years ago, expressing her happiness to talk about her efforts in establishing Cleopatra Company in Japan.

During a ceremony held by the Egyptian-European Business Council this morning, Wednesday, Ikeda pointed out that the Japanese people realize the importance of Egyptian ceramics thanks to Cleopatra, amid intense competition from Malaysia, China and other Asian countries, but they know that Cleopatra's ceramic is very strong.

The Japanese investor added that the metro station in the city of Osaka is used by 2 million and 400 thousand passengers daily, It was built with Cleopatra ceramics, the walls and floors are entirely produced by Cleopatra, noting that porcelain tiles and natural stone of Cleopatra will be used in constructing the fourth metro line in Egypt.

The ceremony was attended by Vice-President of the National Council for Human Rights Ambassador Mahmoud Karem, Former parliamentary speaker Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour, businessman Ibrahim Kamel, former Minister of Industry Ibrahim Fawzy, New Zealand Ambassador to Cairo, Singapore Ambassador, Senegalese Ambassador, many Asian ambassadors, and members of the Egyptian-European Business Council.
