Ivory Coast's U-20 team defeated Saudi Arabia 2-1 on Thursday in the first match of Group D competitions as part of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Now, the Ivorians are now leading the group with three points.

Ivory Coast went ahead 1-0 late in the first half after an own-goal from defender Abdulelah Alamri, but Saudi Arabia rebounded when Salem Aldawsari scored in the 44th minute.

Franck Kessie scored the go-ahead goal in the 66th minute to claim victory over Saudi Arabia.
