Italian Minister of Culture, Alessandro Guli, has announced that Italy will host two exhibitions in Rome dedicated to Pharaonic history and Egyptian antiquities.
According to Alqahera NEWS, Guli emphasized the deep cultural ties between Italy and Egypt. He highlighted his visit to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, describing it as a place that "makes you feel at home" and a true "fortress of culture."
Moreover, the Italian Minister praised Egypt as a leading cultural hub in the Mediterranean region and expressed Italy's commitment to strengthening cultural cooperation, particularly in heritage preservation and academic partnerships.
Guli also noted his discussions with the Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina about Egypt’s rich cultural heritage, including UNESCO-listed sites. He underscored Egypt's pivotal role in fostering cultural diplomacy among nations with shared historical and civilizational roots.
The upcoming exhibitions in Rome aim to celebrate Egypt’s ancient legacy and enhance cross-cultural dialogue, reinforcing the historical connection between the two nations.
