Italy calls for full implementation of nuclear agreement with Iran

Italy's Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio called on Thursday for a return to the full implementation of the nuclear agreement with Iran, according to the Italian "Aki" agency.

During a joint press conference with the High Representative for Foreign Policy in the European Union Josep Borrell at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Rome, Palazzo Della Farnesina, Minister Di Maio added: "With regard to the Iranian file, We look positively at every sign of preparation to resume dialogue."

"Italy supports the path that has been made with the active contribution of the European Union, which could lead to the full implementation of a comprehensive joint action plan and encourage Tehran to assume a more constructive role in the region," the minister said.
