An Italian judicial source announced that Italian prosecutors have placed Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, a far-right politician, under investigation regarding the treatment of activists who were part of the Gaza flotilla last month.
According to the Italian news agency ANSA, citing the Rome prosecutor's office, the investigation has been ongoing for several weeks at the Piazza Claudio court.
The investigation concerns the Israeli forces' boarding of the flotilla, which included Italian citizens who were allegedly tortured while detained following the Israeli operation.
