Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, will visit Algeria in the coming weeks, in her first official visit to the country since taking office last October.
The Algerian embassy in Rome stated - in a statement - that its ambassador, Abdel Karim Touahria, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ettore Secui, preparations for this official visit, which is scheduled to witness the signing of more cooperation agreements in many fields.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various files of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop and enhance them.
