Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, announced that his country will host a new round of US-mediated talks between Lebanon and Israel in the capital, Rome, on August 4.
Speaking during a briefing before the Italian Parliament today, the Foreign Minister stated, "We will host another dialogue session on August 4," following a round of talks between delegations from both sides in Rome last week.
Tajani noted that this is an important outcome of intensive foreign policy efforts that build bridges rather than walls, adding that his country is playing a leading role in this regard.
