It has been announced that an extreme heat wave will hit us this upcoming week. So, here are 7 Tips to protect yourself against the upcoming heat wave as given to you by Dr. Hany ElNazer, the dermatologist and professor at the national research center.
1. Make sure to wear cotton clothes in white or bright colors when going outside in the morning. It is necessary to protect your head by wearing a hat or carrying an umbrella. Also, make sure to use sunscreen and to reapply it every two hours.
2. Take two cold showers every day and use glycerin soap.
3. Stay hydrated and drink three liters of water during the twenty-four hours of the day.
4. Eat green salads and fresh fruits instead of sugary sweets and make sure to eat cucumbers.
5. Use vaseline at night to moisturize your dry skin.
8. For people who suffer from the Nile fever, it's suggested that they use Calamine lotion twice daily, in the morning and at in night.
7. Make sure to air your feet and to keep the area between the fingers dry.
