Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villages in the northern occupied West Bank after two settlers were killed by a Palestinian gunman.
And the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that a Palestinian was killed and more than 100 others were wounded in violence near Nablus on Sunday night.
Dozens of cars and houses were also burned, a local official said.
This followed the killing of two Israelis, brothers from a nearby settlement, on the highway.
On Monday afternoon, an Israeli-American was killed in an attack on a highway north of the Beit Ha'arafa junction in the eastern West Bank, near Jericho.
These incidents came after Israeli and Palestinian officials pledged to calm tensions at the end of a summit held in Jordan.
Ghassan Douglas, a Palestinian official who follows up on settlement affairs in the Nablus area, told the Palestinian Wafa news agency that 30 houses were damaged by stone-throwing or burned in Hawara and that 15 cars were burned.
