Dozens of Israeli settlers, accompanied by heavily armed Israeli occupation police, entered the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday.
The settlers infiltrated the mosque in separate groups, conducting provocative tours and engaging in Talmudic rituals within its courtyards.
These incursions are part of ongoing efforts to exert control over the religious site and establish a new status quo.
The intrusion comes ahead of the Jewish holidays, commencing with Rosh Hashanah, the "Jewish New Year," on September 16 and 17.
Subsequently, during the "Ten Days of Repentance," such intrusions are expected to intensify. Yom Kippur, the "Day of Atonement," falls on September 25, followed by Sukkot, the "Feast of Tabernacles," from September 30 to October 7.
