The Lebanese News Agency reported that the Israeli aircraft launched a raid targeting the valley adjacent to the Kfar Tibnit-Nabatieh road near the former site of Zafateh in southern Lebanon, and also targeted the valley between the towns of Deir al-Zahrani and Azza with another raid.
It added that two raids targeted Wadi al-Hujayr towards the towns of Qabrikha, Bani Hayyan and Taloussa, noting that artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of the town of Blida, and Israeli warplanes launched a number of raids on areas in the western sector of Tyre District, where they targeted the outskirts of the town of Sheheen and the Ma'aliya area near the town of Qaliya, which resulted in an injury in this raid.
For her part, the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, confirmed that the military solution "will not benefit any party."
Hennis-Plasschaert wrote on her page on the X platform: "As the region approaches an imminent catastrophe, it cannot be stressed enough that there is no military solution that will provide security for any party."
The statements of the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon come amid the increasing escalation between Hezbollah and Israel.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced the killing of 45 people and the injury of about 3,000 others as a result of the explosion of thousands of "Pagers" devices last Tuesday, followed by wireless communication devices used by Hezbollah members.
