Israeli Defense Minister and chairman of Blue and White party, Benny Gantz announced today, Tuesday that his bloc in the Israeli parliament (the Knesset) will vote to dissolve the legislative body on Wednesday.

Gantz said that his party, "Blue and White" would support the initial call to dissolve the Knesset tomorrow.

Gantz revealed that he sent a message to the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu to warn him that the burden of proof is on his shoulders.

He recommends the PM to bring the budget immediately to the government, and make sure it is passed and ensure unity."

The minister indicated that Netanyahu decided to dissolve the government and go to elections by preventing him from approving the budget, stressing that his bloc will vote "yes" tomorrow to dissolve the Knesset.

However,  Netanyahu said earlier that the time has come for unity to change the policy for the citizens of Israel.

On the other hand, the leader of the Israeli opposition, Yair Lapid, sent today, Tuesday, a message to Gantz, telling him: "Let us continue what we have started together and expel Netanyahu from Balfour Street" (Netanyahu's official residence).

The Israeli Knesset will vote, tomorrow, Wednesday, on a bill that dissolves itself, with the support of the Blue and White party led by Gantz.

Last week, a poll conducted by the Israeli official media organization Kan, showed that 51% of Israelis believe that the Knesset should be dissolved and go to the polls, in the fourth general elections in than two years.

Gantz has suggested, in a closed conversation, that Israel would head to another snap election on March 21 next year, according to the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

The Israeli newspaper quoted Gantz as saying, "I gave Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu all the opportunities in the world and gave him all the time. I met him and urged him to pass the budget."
