On Sunday, the Israeli occupation forces detained 6 Palestinians from different areas of the West Bank.

Last month, The Arab Parliament (AP) condemned the Israeli announcement of the publication of tenders for the construction of more than 1,300 settlement units in the occupied West Bank and the plan to build more than 3,000 settlement units, in addition to the construction of more than 9,000 new settlement units on the land of Qalandia Airport north of occupied Jerusalem; which incarnates an unacceptable and condemned step that represents a flagrant challenge to the entire international community, and blatant violation of international law, relevant UN Security Council resolutions and all human rights standards, in an attempt to impose a policy of fait accompli and to strip the Palestinian people of their rights.

The AP denounces the international silence on these crimes and the absence of accountability or punishment of perpetrators for these acts that represent war crimes and crimes against humanity.

On the other hand, The spokesperson for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry also condemned the violations committed by Israeli extremists protected by the Israeli forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Ahmed Hafez, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affirmed Egypt’s rejection of these violations, stressing that Egypt has always warned against harming Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He also indicated that a mosque is a place of worship for Muslims; hence, the Israeli authorities are responsible for protecting worshipers in order to maintain security and stability and refraining from everything that contributes to creating any tension or action that leads to escalation.
