Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread arrest campaign, detaining at least 40 Palestinians in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated in a press release on Tuesday, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, that the arrests were concentrated in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, and Bethlehem, while the remaining arrests were distributed across the governorates of Ramallah, Jenin, Salfit, and Qalqilya. In addition, occupation forces conducted field interrogations in several towns and detained dozens of young men.
The statement further explained that the arrests and field interrogations were accompanied by widespread abuse and assaults against the detainees and their families, as well as direct gunfire with intent to kill, the use of detainees as hostages, and extensive acts of vandalism and destruction in Palestinian homes.
The occupation forces also continue to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, targeting residential buildings and various areas.
The occupation forces demolished homes and residential buildings, in addition to intensive air and artillery raids in areas east of Gaza City and Rafah. Warships opened fire off the coast of Khan Yunis. In the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, the occupation forces detonated a booby-trapped armored vehicle. Israeli aircraft launched raids on the Tuffah and Zeitoun neighborhoods. In Bureij in the central Gaza Strip, occupation vehicles fired towards the northeastern areas of the Bureij camp.
