The Palestinian Red Crescent, in occupied Jerusalem, said today, Friday, that its crews have dealt with at least 160 injuries as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on worshipers inside the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque since dawn.
Muhammad Al-Fatiani, the spokesman for the Red Crescent in Jerusalem, said in a press statement that among the injured were paramedics and journalists, noting that most of the injuries were concentrated in the upper areas of the body, while 27 injuries were transferred to Jerusalem hospitals.
He added that the Red Crescent Society mobilized all its crews with the presence of 4 ambulances, in addition to crews from other institutions, and was able to evacuate most of the casualties despite the occupation measures.
Al-Fatiani added that four of the medical crews were injured in the attacks of the occupation forces, which attacked two ambulances belonging to the association.
The occupation forces began their attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque in the early hours of the morning, storming its courtyards in large numbers after the dawn prayer, and firing rubber bullets, sound bombs, and a barrage of tear gas toward the worshipers.
