Two Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces, at dawn today, Thursday, in Jenin, in the northern West Bank. Palestinian medical sources announced that the two martyrs were Jawad Farid Bawaqna (58 years old), and the freed prisoner Adham Muhammad Jabarin, both from the Jenin refugee camp.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) reported that "large forces of the occupation army stormed the Jenin camp and deployed snipers on the roofs of several houses and buildings overlooking the camp."
The agency quoted security sources as saying, "Violent confrontations broke out between the youths and the occupation forces, who fired bullets, stun grenades, and gas canisters at them, which led to the two martyrs and the injury of several others."
