Palestinian media reported on Sunday that Israeli artillery fire targeted areas north of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, amid ongoing military operations across the enclave.
Initial reports did not confirm the extent of casualties or damage caused by the shelling.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced on Saturday that units from the 401st Armored Brigade had resumed ground operations in Jabalia, in northern Gaza, over the past few days.
The army said the renewed activity is part of its continuing campaign in the area, which has been a focal point of heavy fighting in recent months.
The developments come as clashes persist across different parts of Gaza, with civilian areas frequently caught in the crossfire.
Humanitarian agencies have repeatedly warned of worsening conditions in the densely populated strip, where infrastructure and essential services have been severely strained by the ongoing conflict.
