On Friday, the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi started an official visit to Beirut amid intensified Israeli strikes over Beirut.
In the same context, media reports, cited Israeli 12 Channel, indicated that Israeli forces enhanced their attacks over Lebanon after the arrival of the Iranian official.
The visit was first announced by the Spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baqaei.
Baqaei posted on X: "Just landed at Beirut Int'l Airport. Our delegation, led by FM Araqchi, accompanied by two members of Parliament and the Head of Iran's Red Crescent Society, will meet with Lebanese high-level officials shortly."
Baqaei added that Iran is delivering a humanitarian aid package to Lebanon, that includes 10 tons of food and medical supplies.
The Irani official is set to meet various Lebanese officials such as the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri, and the acting Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
