Israeli forces detained at least 30 Palestinians during a raid on the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian officials on Saturday.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli troops raided homes and carried out mass arrests a day after four Palestinians were killed in the village.
Several other residents were also subjected to on-site questioning as military operations continued.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said four Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces on Friday following escalating tensions in the area after two Israeli settlers were killed during clashes with local residents. Several other Israelis and Palestinians were reported injured.
The Israeli military said it had launched a broad counterterrorism operation across the occupied West Bank.
