Israeli forces continue to obstruct the entry of humanitarian aid shipments from Egypt into Gaza, worsening the humanitarian crisis in the enclave, as reported by AlQahera News on Wednesday.

According to AFP, several truck drivers and four UN officials indicated that Israel is still denying the entry of life-saving medical equipment, shelters, and parts for water infrastructure. They noted that these supplies are often rejected for being classified as "dual-use," meaning they could potentially be used for military purposes, or due to minor packaging flaws.

Meanwhile, Diab Al-Louh, the Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt, reaffirmed that Palestine relies on a “full and strategic partnership” with Cairo to counter Israeli aggression. He emphasized that Egypt’s stance on the Palestinian cause is “central, pivotal, and unwavering.”

“All Israeli schemes will not pass. I have said it before, and I will repeat it: anything that Egypt rejects will never be allowed to go through,” Al-Louh stated in an interview with Extra News. He underscored that Egypt’s political, diplomatic, and legal efforts are essential, and both sides are coordinating with Arab nations and the international community to create a united Arab, Islamic, and global front to stop the aggression.

Al-Louh also referenced ongoing cooperation with Egypt and Jordan to achieve a ceasefire, noting that Cairo’s position has been “clear, firm, and consistent since day one.”
