On Sunday evening, the Israeli occupation forces prevented the hundreds of worshipers from entering the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the first night of Taraweeh prayers during the month of Ramadan.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces detained Palestinians who arrived at Al-Aqsa Mosque, and impeded their access to it after stopping near the gates.

They added that the occupation forces imposed restrictions on young men entering Al-Aqsa to perform Taraweeh, and allowed the 40 year old women to enter.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces have been imposing a strict siege on Al-Aqsa Mosque for five months and preventing entry to it. They have issued dozens of deportation orders against Jerusalemites, in order to prevent them from praying during the month of Ramadan.
