Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday arrested three foreign solidarity activists and six Palestinians during separate raids in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian local sources.

The arrests of the foreign activists took place in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. Palestinian news agency WAFA quoted residents as saying that Israel Defense Forces stormed the area of Khallayel, south of the village, where they raided the agricultural outpost belonging to Palestinian resident Rizq Abu Naim, also known locally as “Abu Hammam’s outpost.”

According to the sources, the three detained activists hold British, American, and Italian citizenships and were present in the area to show solidarity with the Abu Naim family. The family has reportedly been subjected to near-daily harassment, provocations, and attacks by Israeli settlers in recent weeks. The activists were arrested while attempting to provide protective presence amid escalating settler violence in the area.

In a separate operation on the same day, Israeli forces carried out a raid in Jalazone Refugee Camp, north of Ramallah, where they detained six Palestinian residents. During the incursion, soldiers reportedly vandalized several homes, damaging property and ransacking personal belongings.

Palestinian residents said the raid involved extensive searches and deliberate destruction inside houses, adding to growing concerns over the impact of repeated military operations on civilian life in refugee camps across the West Bank.

The arrests come amid heightened tensions and a rise in Israeli military raids and settler-related incidents throughout the occupied territory. Human rights groups have repeatedly warned that such operations, particularly in residential areas, contribute to instability and deepen humanitarian concerns, especially when foreign nationals and civilian activists are targeted.
