Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen announced that he will soon visit Ukraine.
Cohen said during a joint press conference with his US counterpart, Anthony Blinken, in Tel Aviv, on Monday: "I spoke several days ago with my Ukrainian counterpart, and informed him that in the coming weeks, the Israeli embassy in Kyiv will resume its full work."
He added, "I also informed him of my plan to visit Kyiv, to be the first visitor from the Middle East to visit Kyiv, in the near future."
Cohen made a telephone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmitry Kuleba, on January 19, for the first time since he took office in late December.
The two ministers discussed Israel's provision of humanitarian aid to Ukraine and the joint response to Iran.
