An Israeli negotiating team is set to travel to Doha either tonight or tomorrow to resume indirect talks with Hamas over a potential deal to exchange hostages and restore a ceasefire, Israeli media reported on Saturday evening.
The renewed diplomatic push comes amid continued violence in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip have killed at least 45 people since dawn on Saturday, according to Cairo News Channel. Among the victims, 29 were reportedly killed when residential homes were struck in the northern part of Gaza City.
The developments underscore the high stakes of ongoing efforts to secure a truce and prevent further civilian casualties in the conflict.
