The Israeli army threatened on Wednesday to bomb bridges over the Litani River in the coming hours, warning Lebanese civilians to evacuate northern areas.
The Times of Israel quoted army spokesman Avichai Adraee as saying: "Due to Hezbollah's activities and movements in southern Lebanon, the Israeli army will attack crossings on the Litani River in the coming hours to prevent the arrival of reinforcements and military equipment."
Last week, the Israeli army targeted a bridge over the Litani River, which it said Hezbollah was using as a main crossing point between northern and southern Lebanon.
