The Israeli army issued urgent warnings to residents of 53 villages in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, demanding they evacuate their towns and move at least one kilometer away from threatened areas.
The warning came amid escalating tensions on the border with Lebanon, with the army emphasizing the need to comply with safety instructions to avoid any potential harm resulting from the military escalation in the region.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Hezbollah fired rockets toward northern Israel, in the first such attack since the ceasefire agreement came into effect. Channel 12 reported that a barrage of six rockets was launched from Lebanon toward northern Israel, prompting a state of alert in the border areas.
