Southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley witnessed a significant escalation in violence, with the Israeli army setting fire to several homes in the town of Adshit al-Qusayr in the Marjeyoun district. This resulted in extensive material damage and heightened tensions in the area.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting Wadi Rumin and the town of Anqoun, while continuing intensive overflights of the Western Bekaa Valley, raising concerns among residents about a potential escalation.
Additionally, Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier twice over the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and its suburbs.
