Several areas in Lebanon witnessed an escalation of Israeli military activity today, including a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting Beirut's southern suburbs and several towns in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.

Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on Beirut's southern suburbs, coinciding with another strike targeting the town of Tayr Falsayh in the Tyre district.

In the south, Israeli warplanes carried out a heavy airstrike on the town of Zrarieh in the Zahrani region, while Israeli aircraft also conducted a powerful strike on the town of Koutriyat al-Sayyad in the Sidon district. Israeli drones also attacked the town of Jouya in the Tyre district.

In the western Bekaa Valley, the town of Sahmar was subjected to Israeli artillery shelling, with six heavy shells landing on the town. Simultaneously, Israeli drones continued their intensive flights over the Zahrani region and along the southern coast. Heavy drone activity was also observed over villages in the Tyre region and the Litani River, creating an atmosphere of tension and anticipation in the targeted areas.

In this context, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli raid that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut hit two residential apartments in two buildings in the Tahwita al-Ghadir area on the side of al-Muraijah, near al-Hashem station.
