In a tragic escalation of violence, two Palestinian children were killed, and several others injured today as Israeli airstrikes targeted the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli warplanes launched a raid on the camp, resulting in the deaths of two children and injuries among others, with medical teams still trying to recover more victims from the rubble.
Further north in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military also bombed a school housing displaced persons in the Jabalia camp, killing several Palestinians and wounding others.
Additional casualties were reported near the Al-Maqadma Mosque in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital, where residential areas were heavily bombarded.
The ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza, which commenced on October 7, 2023, has continued unabated, with attacks from land, sea, and air.
This relentless aggression has led to a devastating toll: 44,708 Palestinians dead, predominantly women and children, and 106,050 others injured. The death toll continues to rise as thousands remain trapped under debris or unattended on streets, inaccessible to rescue and medical teams.
