Israeli airstrikes hit several towns in southern and eastern Lebanon early Tuesday, while the Israeli military issued an evacuation warning for areas in the Bekaa Valley, according to Lebanese media.
Lebanon’s National News Agency said Israeli strikes targeted eight towns in southern Lebanon, amid continued cross-border hostilities between Israel and armed groups operating in the area.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military issued what it described as an “immediate evacuation warning” for parts of the eastern Bekaa region, urging residents to leave designated areas ahead of potential military operations.
Lebanese media later reported that two Israeli airstrikes hit the town of Sahmar in the western Bekaa Valley.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or the extent of the damage from the strikes.
The latest attacks come amid persistent tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where exchanges of fire and Israeli air raids have continued despite international calls for de-escalation.
The conflict has displaced thousands on both sides of the border and raised fears of a broader regional escalation.
