The Israeli military announced on Monday evening that it had carried out an airstrike targeting the Bajel Cement Factory, located east of the Yemeni port city of Hodeidah.

According to a statement reported by Sky News Arabia, the Israeli military claimed the factory was being used as a key economic asset by the Houthi movement. The strike, the statement noted, is part of broader operations aimed at undermining the Houthis' economic and military capabilities, particularly those linked to the supply of weapons and essential resources.

The operation comes amid heightened regional tensions and a surge in military activity. Israeli forces have intensified their campaign against Houthi targets in Yemen, in parallel with increased strikes along the Lebanese front.

The Bajel Cement Factory is considered a vital economic facility, believed to be a significant source of revenue for the Houthis, contributing to the funding of their military activities within Yemen.
