The Lebanese Health Ministry announced that an Israeli airstrike on the town of Baaloul in the Beqaa Valley, eastern Lebanon, resulted in four deaths and thirteen injuries, as reported by Cairo News Channel in a breaking news alert.
The channel added that Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the Fatima Gate in the town of Kafr Kila with artillery shells.
Furthermore, the Israeli military carried out an airstrike around the Al-Jamous area in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Israeli media reported that the strike in the southern suburbs of Beirut was aimed at a meeting of senior Hezbollah leaders. An Israeli official stated that Israel has entered a new phase in the war, continuing its pursuit of the Lebanese Hezbollah, according to the Yedioth Ahronoth website.
