Israel Targets Hezbollah Fuel Network in Lebanon as Strikes Intensify

Israel has carried out a wave of airstrikes targeting fuel infrastructure linked to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, in a marked escalation of cross-border hostilities.

The strikes focused on a network of fuel stations affiliated with Hezbollah, commonly referred to as “Al-Amana stations,” which play a key role in supporting the group’s logistical operations across large parts of the country. The campaigns were preceded by warnings issued to residents in towns within the Tyre district, prompting heightened fears among civilians.

The latest escalation follows recent Israeli strikes on major bridges connecting areas north and south the Litani River, signaling a broader effort to disrupt transportation and supply lines used by the group.

In a parallel development, a strike on a residential apartment in the town of Bchamoun, near Beirut, resulted in the deaths of three people, including a child, and left several others injured.

Another reported operation targeted the “100 and 100” Palestinian refugee camp, although the identity of the intended target has not been confirmed.

The intensifying strikes reflect a significant deterioration in the security situation along the Lebanon-Israel frontier, raising concerns over the potential for a wider regional confrontation.
