Israel's Foreign Minister (FM), Eli Cohen, threatened the Palestinians that continuing to resort to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) would cost them a heavy price, as he put it.

Cohen's statements came shortly after Israel took several punitive measures against Palestine, as it turned to the ICJ in The Hague to request a legal advisory opinion on the "legitimacy of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories."

And the Israeli Foreign Minister tweeted today, Friday that the attempts of the Palestinian Authority to harm Israel in the international arena will cost it a heavy price.”

He went on to say that the cabinet (the security cabinet), a series of measures in response to the Palestinian Authority’s approach to the International Court of Justice, including immediate compensation for the Palestinian Authority’s payments to fighters and their families, freezing Palestinian construction plans in Area C, and depriving them of Senior officials in the Palestinian Authority have advantages, and so on.
