The warnings included areas such as the border town of Bint Jbeil and other locations in southern Lebanon, reflecting what officials described as an expanded security operation.
The evacuations come as Israeli airstrikes continued across southern Lebanon, with warplanes targeting several towns amid ongoing exchanges of fire with Hezbollah.
At the same time, sirens sounded in parts of northern Israel after drones believed to have been launched from Lebanon triggered air defense alerts in areas including Metula and the “Finger of the Galilee.”
Hezbollah has continued to launch attacks on Israeli positions along the border, while Israel has responded with airstrikes and artillery fire.
Israeli health authorities said 1,473 people have been transported to hospitals since the start of the ongoing military operation, with 145 still receiving treatment. Among them were four people in serious condition, 28 with moderate injuries and 67 with minor wounds, while two cases remain under medical evaluation.
Israeli officials also said the United States has reaffirmed its full support for Israel during the current military campaign, suggesting the operation could have broader implications for regional stability.
The growing violence has heightened fears that the confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah could escalate into a broader regional conflict.
