At least 132 Palestinians were killed in the enclave in the past 24 hours, according to the Wafa news agency.
The Ministry of Health has reported that the death toll of Palestinians killed by Israel in Gaza has reached 24,285, with 61,154 reported injuries.
Meanwhile, a number of UN agencies have appealed for “faster, safer” aid access in Gaza as the population faces famine and the spread of disease.
They also noted that Israel is obstructing access to aid missions, preventing the delivery of food and water.
The war, which began on October 7, 2023, has created a humanitarian catastrophe for the 2.4 million people in the besieged strip, the United Nations and aid groups warn, and reduced much of the territory to rubble.
