Former Israeli Chief of Staff Dan Halutz warned on Friday of a "civil war" in Israel if the leader of the (Jewish Greatness) party Itamar Ben Jvir tries to implement his "dangerous" ideas after his expected victory in the upcoming Knesset elections.
Halutz, who headed the Israeli Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2005 to 2007, said that Bin Juffair is trying to implement "dangerous" ideas and there will be a civil war in Israel.
He noted that the Israelis should not give up their basic rights and this person who was excluded from military service, his name is associated with many violations.
"I don't know how he is allowed to carry a personal weapon," Halutz said.
Halutz added that it is known that Bin Juffair wore clothes that resembled the clothes of the criminal Baruch Goldstein, who committed the massacre at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron when he was 18 years old. The massacre resulted in the killing of 29 Palestinians at the dawn of one of the days of Ramadan.
The former Israeli chief of staff clarified that before the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, Bin Juffair appeared in a video filming as he took off the mark of Rabin's car, a Cadillac, and said, "Today we arrived at his car, and tomorrow we will reach him as well."
Bin Jufair's statements came shortly before the assassination of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak. Rabin.
