Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, accompanied by General Hamdi Othman, Governor of Ismailia, and Mohammed Sheha, member of the Organizing Committee of the Championship visited Ismailia Stadium on Tuesday morning.
The Minister of Sports praised all preparations and equipment that were completed efficiently and in record time.
Dr. Sobhi thanked Major Othman for his efforts; he oversaw the development process of the stadium.
In the same context, the Minister of Youth and Sports visited the hotels that will host Group F teams. He expressed his happiness with the preparations of the hotels in welcoming delegations and missions accompanying the teams of the Ismailia Group.
On the sidelines of the tour Sobhi met with Senegalese Minister of Community Mister Sik, who expressed his happiness at the presence of the Senegalese team in Ismailia governorate, praising the beauty of its weather and its streets.
He also thanked the good reception and hospitality and wished all the best to Senegal, stressing Egypt's success in organizing the African Cup of Nations.
He also met with Senegalese football player Sadio Mane, who expressed his happiness that he was in Egypt, the country of his close friend Mohamed Salah.
