IRGC Warns Against Unauthorized Hormuz Transit

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has renewed its threats regarding navigation through any route in the Strait of Hormuz that is not under Iranian management.

"Our forces are in full control of the Strait of Hormuz, and the only safe route is the one designated by us," the IRGC stated today, adding, "We have previously emphasized that not a single drop of oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer will pass through the Strait of Hormuz without our authorization."

The IRGC noted that two ships were involved in an incident in the Strait of Hormuz, while two others retreated from crossing after receiving warnings.

It explained that the four vessels had disabled their navigation systems and attempted to exit the strait via an unsafe route with American support.

Furthermore, it warned that ships influenced by the statements of the "American enemy" that take an unsafe route will inevitably be prone to accidents.

In a separate development, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) expressed its condemnation of a U.S. attack on the Darkhovin nuclear facility in Khuzestan, which is still under construction.

The AEOI stated that targeting a peaceful nuclear facility operating under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) constitutes a crime against international law.
