In a major escalation of regional hostilities, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it has successfully targeted the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the headquarters of the Israeli Air Force commander.

According to a statement released by the IRGC and carried by the Fars news agency, the strikes were carried out using "Kheibar" missiles as part of a "tenth wave" of aerial attacks. The Iranian military claims that both high-profile targets sustained "severe damage" during the operation.

The IRGC emphasized that this latest phase of missile strikes specifically prioritized Israeli government installations. The announcement comes amid a rapidly deteriorating security situation, with reports also emerging of Iranian strikes hitting areas near Jerusalem, including Beit Shemesh, and impacting regional airbases.

The escalation follows a series of high-stakes developments in the Middle East, including reports of U.S.-Israeli airstrikes in central Iran and a broader state of war that has drawn international condemnation. While the IRGC claims direct hits on the Prime Minister’s office, Israeli authorities have yet to provide a full assessment of the damage or confirm the specific impact on government infrastructure.

As the conflict intensifies, the humanitarian toll continues to rise. The Iranian Red Crescent recently reported hundreds of casualties since the outbreak of hostilities, while world leaders call for an emergency UN Security Council meeting to prevent a total regional collapse.
