Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it possesses advanced generations of missiles that have not yet been deployed, as tensions continue to escalate in the ongoing confrontation with Israel.
In a statement issued by IRGC, the force confirmed that it still has more sophisticated missile systems in reserve that have not been used in the conflict so far. The remarks come amid continued regional tensions following the outbreak of hostilities between Iran and Israel.
The statement did not specify the types of missiles or the conditions under which they might be used, but the announcement appeared to signal Iran’s continued military capabilities as the confrontation persists.
Meanwhile, Israeli Ministry of Health reported that the number of people wounded since the start of the war with Iran has risen to 2,975. According to the ministry, 85 of the injured are still receiving medical treatment.
The figures reflect the human toll of the escalating hostilities, which have involved missile and drone attacks across multiple fronts since the conflict erupted.
The ongoing exchanges have heightened concerns about a broader regional escalation, with both sides continuing to issue warnings and signal military readiness while the international community calls for restraint.
