Ireland Embassy in Cairo to celebrate national day at Pyramids

The Director General of the Pyramids Ashraf Mohie El Din received the team of the Ireland embassy in Cairo at the Pyramids on Tuesday.

The Pyramids zone was selected to host the celebrations of the Irish national day on March 17.

In the presence of the Irish ambassador to Cairo Seán O'Regan, the embassy filmed a short music performance dedicated to the Irish folk music played by Micheál Ó hIarlaithe.

The performance will be aired on the Irish state-owned TV stations; in addition, it will be podcasted on the internet on the Irish national day.
