Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed on Monday the necessity of making international efforts to stop the war on Gaza.
This came during his meeting with Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Mohamed Bagheri.
Moreover, Iraqi President stressed his country's firm and supportive position for the right of the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights.
In addition, Rashid pointed out to the importance of developing relations between both countries in the security, political, and economic aspects, as well as enhancing training and technical cooperation, and joint work to ensure border security, combat the drug phenomenon, and benefit from the experiences of the two countries in fighting terrorism.
