Iraqi President Heads to Sharm El-Sheikh to Attend COP-27

Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid headed to Sharm El-Sheikh, to participate in the COP27 Global Climate Summit. 

It is scheduled that the Iraqi president will deliver a speech during the conference dealing with environmental problems and climate change in the country. 

The speech will also tackle Iraq's ambitions and plans to confront the phenomenon of climate change.

It is worth mentioning that Egypt hosts the COP-27 summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, from November 6-18, which is considered the largest and most important summit in the world, to discuss the fate of the planet and save it from deterioration and collapse of the devastating repercussions of climate change, and contribute to saving humanity.

COP27 is witnessing wide international participation from different parts of the world, with the participation of more than 120 state leaders, and representatives from about 197 countries, and nearly 40,000 participants from around the world, as well as dozens of international and regional organizations, to take part in the annual negotiations on climate change.

The summit also enjoys extensive global media coverage with the presence of more than 3,000 media professionals who cover the activities of the summit in different languages.
