Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed, on Monday, his country's keenness to develop relations with Kuwait and expand areas of economic cooperation.
The Iraqi President's Media Office said - in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) - that President Rashid received, in the capital, Baghdad, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Muhammad Al-Zaman, where ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed.
President Rashid pointed out to the investment opportunities available in Iraq, stressing the need to make more international efforts to enhance security and stability.
In turn, the Kuwaiti ambassador stressed the depth of historical relations between the two countries.
