Iraqi PM Survives Assassination Attempt in Baghdad

Iraqi media and activists circulated videos, which is said to have documented the moment the residence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi was targeted at dawn on Sunday.

Sources had reported that the house of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi in the Green Zone in Baghdad was targeted by a drone.

Security also said in a statement that "a failed assassination attempt against the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, by a booby-trapped drone, tried to target his residence in the Green Zone in Baghdad."

It confirmed that the prime minister was not injured and is in good health.
