Iraqi Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani stressed on Sunday, the government’s keenness to remove all obstacles hindering the work of Italian companies in Iraq, indicating the government’s keenness and interest in supporting investment and paving the way for the work of local and foreign private sector.
During his meeting on Sunday with the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Maurizio Griganti, Al-Sudani reviewed bilateral relations and developing prospects for cooperation in various political and economic fields, in order to achieve the mutual benefit of the two friendly countries.
For his part, the Italian ambassador expressed his country's government's interest in developing relations with Iraq, pointing out that his country awaits a future visit by Iraqi Prime Minister to Italy in order to raise the level of cooperation and strengthen areas of partnership.
