Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned on Saturday that the so-called “Greater Israel” project represents an explicit threat to the security of independent states across the Middle East.
According to Al Qahera News, Araghchi said the plan reflects expansionist ambitions that undermine regional stability and sovereignty.
He further condemned Israel’s military strategy in Gaza, stressing that a full-scale occupation of the enclave would aim to erase its geographic and national identity.
“The scheme of total military control over Gaza is not just about territorial domination, but about erasing the very existence and identity of the Strip,” Araghchi stated, according to the report.
Iran has repeatedly positioned itself as a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause, denouncing Israel’s actions in Gaza amid ongoing military operations and warning that broader escalation threatens the entire region.
