Iranian Foreign Minister (FM) Abbas Araghchi said on Wednesday that "any threat to our people and leadership will be met with an immediate and strong response."
"The terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (between Iran and the United States) in Islamabad are perfectly clear and public for all to see, and they bind the US President to rein in his allies in Tel Aviv," Araghchi added in a post on the 'X' platform (formerly Twitter).
Araghchi had previously warned that the continuous violations of the memorandum's terms by the United States and the Zionist entity—specifically the first clause—constitute a major obstacle to restoring security and stability in the region.
